Understanding Hypnosis

The effectiveness of hypnosis depends on how much you want to change and how well you follow the program. If you really want to effect change in your life, hypnosis will work. Sometimes change may occur as fast as in one day.

Hypnosis is completely safe! It is an excellent tool that uses the power of your own mind to learn and strengthen new behaviors.

Hypnosis encourages changes, reinforces specific behaviors or helps one to understand unconscious phenomena. You are always aware and in control while in the hypnotic state.

Hypnosis allows a person to be more susceptible to planned and desired suggestions. You cannot be forced to do anything against your will! Hypnosis is suggestion not command.

Hypnosis is used to address unresolved trauma, exploring previous experiences that currently affect one's behavior. The cause of the current problematic behavior may have been buried in the unconscious mind. Hypnosis works to uncover and resolve these traumas.

All people can experience hypnosis. Some people need additional time and guidance to reap the benefit from this natural state of mind. Most people need several sessions in hypnosis to achieve permanent change.

The stronger your motivation and dedication, the longer hypnosis will last. Hypnosis helps to develop alternative though and behavior patterns that if reinforced will last a lifetime.

You will learn self-hypnosis from the beginning. This allows you to create the hypnotic state for yourself. As you give yourself suggestions you increase the effectiveness of the therapeutic intervention.
