Services at the Life Mastery Center are often covered by medical insurance. The exception to this is hypnosis for weight loss and smoking cessation.
It is recommended that you contact your insurance company to determine if Dr. Kirschner is on your insurance panel. Your insurance company will discuss your mental health benefits with you and tell if there is a co-payment for your session. You will be expected to pay your co-payment at the time of your session.
Often mental health services require pre-authorization. When you contact your insurance company, the care manager will give you the pre-authorization. Please bring the pre-authorization numbers and claims mailing address with you to your first session. You can often find the telephone number of your insurance company on the reverse of your medical insurance card. Look for the telephone number for mental health and substance abuse.
Receipt of pre-authorization is not a guarantee of payment by an insurance
company. If, for example, insurance coverage is terminated prior to a
session, the insurance company will not pay for the session. Should it
be determined that an insurance company will not pay for a session; you
would be responsible for the session fees.
