Adoption Services
Adoption is the building of forever families. Whether the potential adoptive family is a married couple or single person, Dr. Kirschner works closely with several adoption agencies, focusing on finding a loving, safe and secure family for a child.Dr. Kirschner works through several adoption agencies to conduct adoption home studies and help families through the adoption process. Post adoption services are also available at the Life Mastery Center, including post placement and psychotherapy for adoption related issues.
A home study is a series of approximately four meetings. The goal of the meetings is to help a family understand the world of adoption while assuring every child that he or she will be placed in a healthy, safe, secure, loving environment.
Post Placement services include visits with the family after the adoption placement. The number and frequency of meetings is set by the agency and state regulations.
